IND vs SA 2nd Test: Draw likely as persistent rain washes out Day 3

BENGALURU : Up till now, it’s been a ‘Games of Rains’ in M Chinnaswamy Stadium here in the second Test match between India and South Africa as after completion of Day 1, the rain has spoilt two entire days without a ball being bowled.
It is another day in Bengaluru, which is called off without being a single ball bowled. Weather forecast predicted more rainfall.
“Bad news from M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Play for Day 2 has been called off. If weather permits, tomorrow the play will start at 9:15am,” tweeted BCCI.
Before rain, India totally dominated day one of the second Test against South Africa played at the Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangaluru. After opting to bowl, the magical spinners – R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja, took 4 wickets each and restricted Proteas to 214. However, AB de Villiars played his 100th Test in style and commanded his team to a respectable total, with his 85-run innings.
The Indian openers in response got off to a great start. The duo played audacious shots and provided the team, a great start which was missed in the last Test. Murali Vijay (28*) and especially, Shikhar Dhawan (45*) made his mark with his fearless innings. The day ended vehemently for India as opening pair remained unbeaten at 80.
South Africa must be missing its guns, in the form of Dale Steyn and Vernon Philander. Proteas will hope for
